Yuzu Sushi - Sherbrooke

I ordered sushi from the menu, but they gave me sushi from the conveyor belt. They opened the sushi rolls and arranged my order from the sushi on the belt. I explained that I came to Yuzu, despite the higher prices, because I wanted fresh sushi. However, the lady told me she didn't have time to make sushi, so she decided to take it from the belt instead. I should have just bought sushi from the competition across the street from Yuzu. It's cheaper and probably fresher. Yuzu is located in Sherbrooke.

This restaurant is clean and has friendly staff, but lacks a diverse sushi menu. The selection of sashimi is very limited and they seem to mainly focus on rolls. In my opinion, they seem to be a Canadian restaurant trying to incorporate sushi into their menu to appeal to a broader audience. Overall, I would say my rating is on the generous side of average.

I was very disappointed, as I usually go to Sushi Shop but decided to try Yuzu this evening at 4 pm on a Tuesday. There was a 45-minute wait, only one employee who was not very friendly, and the work area did not look very clean. The avocados were not ripe enough and some were brown hidden under the sushi toppings. The flavors did not impress me and the sushi was very small and not very filling. I will definitely not be trying this experience again.
