Rouge de Toi - Sherbrooke

This restaurant is now closed. Long in preparation and well situated, this restaurant lacked a professional chef and did not attract sufficient clientele to remain in business, which is too bad as the village could certainly use another good dining option.

We came for lunch and were impressed! I had the crab cake special, which was two crab cakes full of crab, with slight seasoning, though no sauce. They were served with a green salad and preceded by a delicious, flavorful carrot soup. We ate inside in a very attractively decorated dining area, although there is outside seating too.

We were on our way to a local pub and spotted this sweet gem of a place. The outdoor patio was empty with the exception of a smiling waitress (Olivia). We decided to chance it.....that was our best decision of the day! We ordered the duck and a quiche! Both were made by the talented chef Jacquie! This place knocked our socks off!!! Every morsel was so very delicious! Next dessert and 2 cafe au laits dans un bol! The sunshine, the view, the staff and fabulous food made for a fabulous evening! Great prices too! Don't forget to bring your wine!

This restaurant's quality has declined. It seems like they are not paying attention to customer reviews or making any effort to improve.

Please reopen soon! I miss the delicious butter chicken and naan from this fantastic Indian restaurant. Please consider relocating near a mosque.
