Wok Express Chinese Takeaway - Shepway

After visiting China, I can confidently say that Mark and his team are extremely knowledgeable in their craft. Their people skills are fantastic and the food is simply wonderful. It's no surprise that other restaurants use this place as a benchmark. It is simply the best Chinese restaurant in Kent.

Used this place when our ‘usual ‘ was closed, not again, spring roll was like 1/2 cooked batter, the ‘special chow mien ‘was dry , the container was nowhere near full, not again sorry

After about 5 minutes of us looking for a Chinese that done collection we come across the “wok express” which managed to stand out to us. We ordered two large crispy spring rolls and within 15 minutes we got on the way to collect. When walking into wok express I was greeted at the front desk by a lovely lady who gave us our order! After being excited the car journey home to eat out crispy spring rolls we were sadly disappointed by thick batter-like roll filled with 99.8% of bean sprout.

Received a takeaway from new wok the Chicken green pepper and Black bean was only 3/4s full and the sweet and sour dish was not that warm and had to be reheated as unable to get through to the takeaway. Not at all impressed .

This is still the best Chinese takeaway in town by far The singapor rice noodles are my favourite but any dish from here is superb. Keep up the good work and fab food Wok Express!!
