The Fish Shack - Shepway

We decided to visit Romney Marsh/Dungeness as our summer holiday is almost over and we wanted to visit the Snack Bar at the Fish Hut in Dungeness. So glad we did. The food and the service was excellent. I can definitely recommend the lobster flatbread,...the lobster roll and the beetroot flavoured salmon. The fish bun also looked good, but will save that for a later date. The place was packed, but we didn't wait for too long for our food. The wait was certainly worth it. We'll done to all of the staff thank you. By the way, the tubs of crab bought at the Fish Hut was absolutely amazing. All the products looked so fresh. Visit them and leave them a tip they work jolly hard.

Most amazing fresh food, including salad items, the scollops where quite fantastic. Pricing is spot on. Highly recommend.

Weather was fantastic for January so decided to go for lunch at the shack, food never disappoints and had a fantastic fish and scallop flatbread, as always great value for money and well presented, and like the way they add some salad, red cabbage, and...avocado. Yes you have a bit of a wait for the food, but it is in fantastic location,right on the beach, and you know this is fish caught that morning and freshly cooked, so for me the wait it is all part of the experience.

Stunningly fresh and stunning flavour. Friendly service. Fish rolls, fish flatbreads, fresh scallops, hot choc and stunning flapjack chicken cake. A must visit for anyone passing through this area.

They say you may have to wait a bit..... so wait, even if it is tipping down and blowing a gale (which it was). You won't regret it. Fish so fresh it's almost flapping. Scallops in a flatbread (have the Chili jam) with crunchy salad...were sensational. Little fish fillets in a bun were beautiful. Eat in (I.e. out or take away. The Perfect light lunch, and not expensive.
