Luben's Pizza - Shepway

We happened to be in town just as Luben's launched their new vegan (veggie and gluten free) menu and we were definitely glad we chose to eat here. The pizza bases are perfect, and the vegan cheese (which you can have on any pizza for a vegan tax) was great and not claggy. The mac and cheese is sweet as has butternut squash in it, and really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!!

Really good pizza. the meatballs were ok, but the sauce and garlic bread were better. also super friendly and helpful staff. pizza is super big so you'll probably pick it up. can not wait to go back and try the vegan mac n cheese

Luben make their own sourdough pizza base and cook them in a huge wood stove they can see in action on the back of the restaurant, it is a thing of beauty and the teig is some of the best I ever had. for a small fee they can update on vegan cheese and add additional toppings. I think the cheese they use is mozzarisella, although I can't be sure, but it tastes like that. a gluten-free basic is also present. also available on deliveroo!

Have eaten here a few times, beautiful large restaurant in the heart of folkestone. they love the hummus and sour teig bread star who is great enough to share (they can ask for more bread free). I don't know we're happy and full.
