The 30 quid steak was just awful. Burnt mushrooms. One tomato. Small flavourless steak. Chips came with a black chip right in the middle. Never thought it was possible to get it this wrong.

I stopped by the pub to ask for some assistance with the area since I'm not from around here, but I was abruptly told “No” by a kitchen staff member. It’s disappointing because I might have considered returning with my family for a meal, as the area is quite nice. However, if this is how lost visitors who politely seek help are treated, then my family and I will look for a different place that has a more welcoming and friendly environment. We didn't go up for food we met friends up there for drinks the friends had food we went outside to garden where it was cold and got told couldn't come back in to warm up the atmosphere was not great there was only a couple of couples there the friends said they might of wanted puds or even a coffee but didn't feel to welcome to ask won't b back Price per person: £1–10 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
