Lenny's Sub Shop - Shenandoah

The restaurant is quite good. Their bread surpasses that of some competitors. I believe ordering extra meat is a must. It's refreshing not to get food from a nationwide chain, even though it is still part of a chain.

This place is far better than Subway. Here, they pile on the meat according to weight, so you get a substantial amount, not just a few slices for a footlong. They cut the meat right in front of you, just like at a deli. Every Lenny I've visited is exceptionally clean, and the staff is always kind and friendly. I choose this spot whenever I crave a sandwich.

I haven't been to a Lenny's for years and I have hunted a Philly cheese steak that I usually go to Pappa Genos when I'm in this area, but they're far away from Westheimer and Westheimer during certain days is just a nightmare, so I decided to turn on. The young girl at the counter was very friendly, I didn't have to wait long for my order, maybe give or take 5 minutes, and the sandwich was quite delicious. The trip was definitely worth, and I have every intention to return to this place as I got such excellent service. This is a fantastic alternative to Pappa Geno's, and I swear the sandwiches are bigger so ya, really fantastic first impression. I look forward to going back and maybe even trying some of their other subs.
