Boxcar Deli Subs - Shenandoah

This restaurant is a friendly, family-owned establishment that I’ve been wanting to try during my visits to the area. I finally made it here and ordered the BLT, which was quite good. The place is clean and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Additionally, it’s connected to a store where you can browse while waiting for your meal. I look forward to returning to try the chili!

The food is pretty good, but the sandwiches could definitely use more meat for the price. There seems to be an issue with their phone system, as ordering is always a hassle. There aren’t many dining options in Shenandoah, either.

The sandwiches here are consistently delicious, and the service is incredibly friendly. I've visited multiple times and sampled a range of sandwiches, but my favorite is definitely the Pullman.

Wow! The staff here is just as charming as the food. This hidden gem of a restaurant will impress you with its delicious deli selections, which I found to be incredibly tasty and crafted with care. The restaurant also provides a nostalgic glimpse into the rich history of local trains. I can't wait to return soon!
