Island Grille - Shelton

The restaurant was overcrowded, and the bill couldn't be adjusted since it was closed after the manager's approval. They didn't offer any discount for a future visit either. Luckily, there are plenty of casino resorts in the area that we can choose from for our upcoming three-day trip.

We visited the restaurant at the Island Grill for breakfast. The meal was decent, but the service was average, and we didn't receive any beverage refills. Prices were reasonable. I appreciated that the ketchup was served in individual cups, which is great for safety during the pandemic.

That was the most unpleasant meal I've ever had! I thought you couldn't go wrong with chicken wings, but I was completely wrong! It was terrible, and I love food! I will never dine here again, not ever!

The food is hearty, plentiful and does not break the bank. Service was fast, and the staff was polite and on all my needs. Cesar Salat, 12 oz Prime Rib, baked potato and an iced tea was $41, which was significantly cheaper than eating in any big city.

Some very, very good food. Fresh, hot. The establishment was so clean. I felt safe. But... the service was very slow.
