Southern Fare - Shelbyville

The meal was excellent! My husband really enjoyed his burger, and I had a chef salad that was outstanding. Overall, it was a great experience.

Shelbyville has been waiting for this recognition! Southern Fare offers food that is just as delicious as what you would enjoy on a Sunday at Grandma's. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is not only attractive but also very accommodating. The dining room is well maintained, and the chefs are attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable. Southern food at its finest! I enjoyed everything from the perfectly fried steak to the country-style sweet tea, along with delicious roasted green tomatoes and creamy mac and cheese. I absolutely love this place, and I come back very often!

We eat here several times a week. I had nothing on the menu, that was not delicious! My favorites are the roasted pork shed potatoes.

Great food and portion size. I had the fish and two sides, the price was not bad either. The cornbread is great. Good southern cooking.
