Center Cut - Shelbyville

We dined at this restaurant last night, June 4th, and ordered a selection that included wine, crab cakes, side salads, two filets, and one ribeye. Unfortunately, the filets were served as small, well-done hockey puck-like medallions, despite our request for medium and medium rare. While we were willing to give them another chance, it took an excessive 40 minutes for the replacement steaks to arrive, when they should have only taken about 3-5 minutes per side. By that point, we were quite dissatisfied and disappointed that no one bothered to check on our experience; we were simply handed the bill. I would advise against visiting this place—it's far from being a proper steakhouse.

The service was outstanding! The ribeye steak was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. However, the lamb chop was tough, chewy, and dry, which was disappointing given the price. I won't be ordering that again. The drinks were excellent, and our server was exceptional! I plan to return, but I'll make sure to choose a steak next time.

I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a salad, and we asked for it to go since we were in a hurry. Unfortunately, there was no ranch dressing for the salad, the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant, and the meatloaf was a bit mushy. My friend's NY strip, which was supposed to be medium-rare, came out more like medium. He also ordered mushrooms and toppings that were missing. We also ordered lobster mac and cheese, but they forgot to include that in the bag. We used a $100 celebration dinner, otherwise I would have been quite frustrated about having to pay for this meal. Overall, it was comparable to Mann's Grille.

Located within Indiana Grand Casino, this steakhouse has delicious lamb chops and filet mignon with all the sides you could ever want! The food, expectedly, did take about 30-45 minutes to come to the table which our awesome waitress warned us about whenordering the medium rare lamb chops (average cooking time she said)! Our experience was awesome and albeit on the pricier end,we?ll definitely find a reason to be back for more.

We had asked for our steaks to be cooked medium and medium rare, but they were served well done instead. While mistakes happen, it took an additional 40 minutes for our new steaks to come out—when it really should have been only about 3-5 minutes per side. By that point, we were quite unhappy and decided to take the food home. No one seemed to care to check in on us or ask how our evening was; they simply handed us the bill. I would recommend steering clear of this place—it doesn’t live up to being a steakhouse.
