Heavenly Burgers By Big J - Shelby

I stopped by the restaurant today and had an excellent experience! I ordered a cheeseburger plate, which allowed me to choose between two sides. I went with tater tots and coleslaw. The prices may seem a bit high for Shelby, but the burgers are worth it - they are thick and delicious! The tater tots were seasoned with what I think was lemon pepper and they were really tasty, I didn't even need ketchup. The coleslaw was okay, made fresh at the restaurant like everything else. There are plenty of sandwich options to choose from, including burgers, hot dogs, wings, and a variety of sides. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

I am unable to provide a rating for this restaurant. I was eager to try it out, but despite arriving at 11:20 AM as stated on the door, it was still closed. There were cars in the parking lot, but nobody answered our calls as the voicemail was not set up. It is important for restaurants to keep their customers informed and updated.

I recently discovered this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I ordered the bologna burger and fried pickles. It took a bit longer (30 minutes) because everything was made from scratch, including breading the pickles on the spot, but the wait was worth it. The pickles were the best I've ever had, and I always seek them out wherever I go. The burger was not what I expected, but it was exactly what I ordered - a bologna burger. Instead of a thick slice of fried bologna, it had a one-inch thick burger patty. It was the best burger I've ever had. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The ambiance reminded me of a 1950s diner, and the staff were friendly. Overall, a great place with delicious food.

3 stars just because restaurant could use some sprucing up. Front entrance kind of uninviting. The staff was friendly, but I would rather see a more well dressed staff making food. The hamburgers where really good. Fries where also good, could be a little crisper, but my order was to go so it might of just been because of the heat in the lunch tray. I will probably stop by again.

Stopped in from visiting my sister and I live in Pittsburgh pa. We were so hungry we forgot to take pics, but I will say some of the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. We had dry Jamaican j and wet Nashville hot. And those hot wings were HOT. Food was fire and was so impressed. The only downfall was the wait time on the food. We ordered around 9:15 and food wasn’t ready until 10ish. But it was worth the wait. The okra was really good and the burger was phenomenal. I love finding mom and pop shops and would much rather spend my money there. So y’all don’t let this place die! If you have some time to wait to get food, do it!!!
