Fatz Cafe - Shelby

Once we were finally seated, we were impressed by the extremely polite staff, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. Our waitress was particularly helpful, offering to replace a side dish that I did not care for with my grilled lemon fish (cheese grits). Although I had enjoyed shrimp grits in the past, I found that cheese grits were not to my liking. True to her word, she replaced them with some delicious green beans. The rest of the meal was also delightful, with my glass always being refilled promptly. Overall, we had a great experience at the restaurant and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a large party.... a birthday party to be exact. We had two servers for 4 tables. Both were very pleasant, took our orders quickly, kept our drinks filled and brought us great food. We'll definitely go back.

Fatz handled catering for our son?s wedding rehearsal and reception this weekend at a venue in Shelby. Nate from their catering department was wonderful to work with from start to finish. He made setting it all up very easy. He did an outstanding jobhandling everything at the venue. It is definitely worth the money to have them handle everything from set up, to serving, toclean up. The food was great and the service from start to finish was 5 stars. If I could give Nate 10 stars I would. We didnot have one single issue with either meal.

Good food overall. Had the fried porkchops. Would have been better boneless. The breading covered up the bone and i as tried to cut i hit the bone. Loaded baked potato was great. Overall food was well prepsred and good. Some remodeling needs to be doneon place as torn seats all around and a slight mildew smell. Service was good.
