World Peace Cafe - Sheffield

I have eaten vegan food all over the world and I am as happy as much better it will be in sheffield in the last few years. world peace cafe is a bit hidden gem and I don't know if all the many people know how delicious it is and how much it is improved. really delicious, fresh, interesting meals, and great coffee and vegan cakes too. vegan junk food has its place, but I'm a little bit about it, I'd much prefer everyone so. more beautiful place also, they have made a great redesign. highly recommended.

After I had not visited the caffe for a long time, my friend and I decided to leave the last weekend. we knew there were renovations, so we're happy to see it. Unfortunately, we both agreed that it was much more cosifying before the work was done. although the walls and the regals with plants give him a beautiful note, the furniture and the colors remind of a hospital caféteria that is a candy. it had earlier charm because it was not perfect, but now it has lost some of it. also the menu of vegan has changed too vegetarian, with much more options for vegetarians that was a little disappointing. I had the suppe of the day, which was good, a bit watery and could have done with a little more seasoning, but my hot chocolate was great. my friend also enjoyed her mocha and a piece of cake. so it is a nice place to go when they are in the opposite and the prices are definitiw great, but if they were used to the old wpc, they could also be somewhat disappointed.

The world peace cafe is located at the front of the Buddhist meditation center, just a few steps away from the lively eccleshall road. it has high ceilings and large windows that over the park, which really improves the relaxed feeling to the place. from her vegan menu my friend had the rainbow wrap and I had the lotus bowl, and they were both delicious. mass of fresh, brightly coloured vegetables with taste. we would have tried the cakes, but both were too full (good portion size, as we both felt full and only paid about £5 per, I think the world peace cafe was really good value for money

Beautiful atmosphere of peace and tranquility in a beautiful Buddhist meditation center. overpriced eating, small portions, often 2 pounds for a small piece of cake, exorbitant expensive. odd vibes sometimes, as the Buddhists leave only one monk to help, and manage a series of willing volunteers. badly organized and chaotic. updated by the previous review on Sunday, 19 september 2010 it has been today, the vegan cake is, a,delight but is expensive. beautiful ambiente, tee served in a beautiful pot in this meditation center.

I agree with the person below. It's not expensive at all like the first person said. £3 for a gorgeous home made soup and ciabatta isn't expensive and £4 for a sweet potato and spinach curry INCLUDING rice! Bargain. Shame I was the only one there, I hope they get more visitors!
