What a lovely 3 course meal we have just had for lunch today all for the pricely sum of £13.95, what a bargain. Well worth a visit, great tasty food, brilliant choices on the menu, great staff friendly atmosphere from the moment you walk in to the time you leave, love it xx

This is a spacious traditional pub offering some excellent hand-pulled real ales from Thwaites and Warsteiner—brews that are hard to come by elsewhere. The new management, Caroline and Julian, were very welcoming. The kitchen has recently undergone a complete renovation, so I’m looking forward to trying the new menu in the near future.

For the main course, my husband had the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection along with all the trimmings. I opted for the haddock and chips; the fish was perfectly cooked, and the batter was wonderfully crispy—better than any fish and chip shop I’ve been to! The mushy peas and vegetables were fresh, with nothing frozen in sight. Overall, I’d give the whole experience an impressive 18/10! Compliments to the chef and the restaurant!

This is a fantastic pub that serves delicious food. We visited with our family tonight, and everyone ordered something different, but we all loved our meals. The interior is cozy, with plenty of seating options, and there are a few outdoor tables for nice weather. They offer a special board with a variety of choices from Monday to Saturday, featuring generous portions and an extensive dessert menu. There’s a good selection of different beers, as well as white and apple wines. We will definitely be returning!

My wife found this jewellery of a pub that was made to feel really welcome from moment at, to leave excellent service from all the staff that was eating delicious. washed with a nice well kept theakstons beer. it was very busy so book a table if they don't want to be disappointed. we'll be back. thanks to everyone.
