The Admiral Rodney - Sheffield

Beautiful surroundings with a nice fire. Very friendly staff and good food.

My recommend would be on friendliness. The staff are very considerate. The food is just about ok. One of our party had to wait because his meal had been burnt. It was good they didn’t serve the burnt portion but it did make for a disjointed experience. In fairness he was offered a free dessert in recompense. I guess accidents can happen but we didn’t leave thinking we must return in the near future,

Returned with female group after 2 or 3 years and we were all disappointed with the standard of food served and apart from one young waitress the serving staff were sullen and unhelpful. A sad experience after our many years of enjoying the Admiral Rodney. What has happened?

Lovely welcoming pub, with tasty food and friendly staff Angela looked after us and was our table server. Hoisin Duck pizza always a favourite of mine.

Lovely welcoming experience. Angela was very friendly, attentive and chatty and made us feel at home, definitely come again.
