Hong Kong House - Sheffield

I ordered a meal at 6 pm on Monday, was told it would take 40 minutes to arrive. I live 500 yards away from the restaurant, but it took over an hour for the delivery to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold and it was the wrong order. I called back to complain and was told that the missing items would be sent out. An hour later, I received a call saying the driver couldn't find my address, even though he had already been there. When the replacement food finally arrived, it was even colder than before. I ended up throwing it all away. This restaurant is absolutely terrible and shouldn't be in business. Avoid it at all costs.

We waited for over 3 and a half hours at this restaurant. The chow mein tasted strange and was served with the wrong sauce. Stick to what you know and don't bother trying this place because it's terrible. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever had, such a disappointment. Avoid Ecclesfield or Orient, they are much better options.

I always order from this restaurant because the food is fantastic. Sometimes the delivery takes an hour, but the food is always hot and delicious, especially the hot and spicy sauce. I recommend trying different items on the menu as I have never had a bad meal. The food is excellent and the prices are great value for money.

Ordered food at 5:20, got told a maximum arrival time of 40 minutes. Called 40 minutes ago, told the driver would be 5 minutes away. Only to hear just now he was only sent out 10 minutes ago. Left on the phone with no response, pure ignorance. Delivery driver is irresponsible as are all the customer service staff. Currently 6:51pm, just had the phone put down. Liars, irresponsible and disgusting. Do NOT go there. A shop run by all teenagers could give you better service then these people could!

We use this takeaway fairly often and honestly can't fault the food or delivery service..a great choice and fair pricing.
