We returned for Sunday lunch and found that the menu had changed significantly since our last visit four weeks ago. Many diners opted for the "home-made pie" with chips and peas priced at £18.95, but we found it to be subpar and not worth the money. The pie was small and contained pieces of gristle, and some diners even mentioned that theirs was only lukewarm. The service was also somewhat casual. Overall, our experience was disappointing compared to the lovely meal we had enjoyed four weeks prior. It felt like we were dining at a completely different restaurant.

This is a fantastic spot to visit whether you're in the neighborhood or simply looking for a more laid-back dining experience with delicious food and drinks.

There were a few factors that prevented this review from receiving a higher score. Firstly, we were seated in the conservatory, which was a bit cramped for the four of us. The table should have been bigger to accommodate us comfortably. We found the menu to be lacking in options for starters, but we ended up choosing three and sharing them. For our main courses, I had the steak pie while everyone else had chicken. The dishes were all well-prepared, but my steak pie had a lot of gristle, which was disappointing considering the meat was prepped before arriving at the restaurant. We enjoyed the wine and ended up going through two bottles. We skipped dessert, but had two coffees instead. The bill came to just over £156, so the prices are definitely on the higher end for what we received. I did receive £4 off my meal due to the issue with the meat, but it was still a pricey meal overall.

Food tasty but Luke warm. Overpriced. Service terrible was sat for 15mins no one bothered to ask for our order was served eventually when we asked the person who was taking the order of the next table who came in 10mins after us. Was never approached again so paid the bill myself at the bar. Option to tip! Get your house in Oder. Won’t be going back.

3 of us ordered the Lamb Dosa which was barely warm and seemed to be lacking most of the ingredients stated on the menu and so it was tasteless. We informed the waitress who told us it was not meant to be served hot which is incorrect. There was no real interest shown to our lack of enjoyment of the meal. Service was very slow but desserts finally arrived which we enjoyed as we were still hungry. We left feeling extremely dissatisfied and will not return or recommend.
