Contribuiți la feedbackWe've been here twice in recent months. The first time we had a party of 8, and the food was great. Chef John came out and introduced himself and asked how everything was. Had a great conversation with him, and looked forward to coming back in the near future to have properly cooked salmon! The second time we came with a party of three, and were told it would be a 30 minute wait, even though we had called ahead and there were more open tables than occupied. The hostess said that they only had 1 chef, and that the other was a no show, and Chef John was not there. We were meeting a friend from out of town to enjoy the food and view, so the wait with a 60% empty restaurant was disappointing. A man came out from the bar to offer excuses for the wait, so I'm not sure what his role is at this place. We were seated after mentioning we had called ahead and were expecting an out of town guest at 6:30. The service was fine, and the food was good, although not as good as our first visit. We will go again, but will make sure Chef John is there next time. I hope they get their staff issues resolved.
Literally one of the most perfect dinners we've had from anywhere in a long time! The new chef has really done a great job with the food quality, menu, and speed of service. I hadn't had the prime rib from here for a couple years because it was tough back then, but I tried it tonight and it was one of the best prime ribs I've ever had! Tender, flavorful, and juicy! Cooked to perfection! Baked French onion soup was also probably the best I've ever had. All in all, the food came out quickly, but not on top of each other, the service was fantastic, and the food was so good! Highly recommend this place, and if you had come here previously to do yourself a favor and give it another chance.... You won't be disappointed!!
Fabulous view of the river! Felt like we had our own private table in front of a window. Service was excellent and very professional. I loved the lentil soup and the grilled salmon salad, both were delicious! My son liked his flaming bourbon steak. My son in-law thought the seafood pasta tasted like tuna helper. But other than that, we had a terrific experience and would go back again.
