Taco Bueno - Shawnee

Great service. The staff is very friendly polite. Food is decent for fast food, much better than Taco Bueno on the 12th in Norman. I tried the Big Freak'n Taco Salad tonight, but I'm not a fan. The meat was dirty, the bowl was in pieces. However, the franchise cannot be responsible for the product. This is the responsibility of the company, mostly. My nephew got the Beef Mucho Nachos, as usual. He didn't want to let me have his leftovers. He saves them for tomorrow. My niece loved her Nacho Salad. Not my first time here. It won't be my last.

After 10:30, the dining room was not open. The woman who opened the door said it was 20 minutes. We had a change, so we left and came back at 11:30. There were only two people. During lunch they took care of the drive-thru and dining room and did a great job. They didn't have the chance to make guacamole or store the salsa bar, but I wasn't mad at it. They were both pleasant and did a great job because they were shorthanded.

We order two boxes tonight. It was the manager alone. She was very honest about how long it would take. We waited and the food was perfect. Thank you to the very nice manager for making our food on this icey and cold night.

I recently took the management position, I understand that things in the past were not good with the experience in Taco Bueno, at the Shawnee site, I apologize for all the bad ones you had. I do my best to turn things and make the changes that need to be done, I will do my best to give the best service we can offer, Please be patient with us as we make these changes. I love this taco bueno. I will say, they are greasy and usually understaffed- but its the best cheap mexican in town. If you're like me and love food that will give you a heart attack- don't look any further.
