Contribuiți la feedbackWe decided to have a late lunch here. We had the Sancho white queso. Mrs. Flip Out had the street tacos and enjoyed them. The kids menu did not have a taco so Little Flip Out had a quesadilla. I had the lunch combo with a taco, enchilada, and flauta, and all were good.
Way too over priced and the food quality is that of a microwaved meal
The boyfriend and I were venturing out to a new area of town (Shawnee) and decided to try out the local restaurants. Sancho Ancho wasn 't on our radar. However, after driving to two other restaurants that were listed as open but were actually closed, we were desperately hangry. We finally decided to pull into the first restaurant with parked cars in front of it and we landed and Sancho and chill. And boy are we glad we did. It was vibrant and beautiful, both inside and out. The service was excellent, which is a rarity post COVID19. Our server and the manager were able to check on us enough to make sure we were taken care of, without feeling like they were being over bearing. They were funny and very hospitable. The house salsa and nachos were never more than half empty. We ordered the street nachos, the special of the day which was El gringo and the big boy burrito. The proteins were tender and flavorful, and portions were generous. We had a great experience and can 't wait to head back again!
The food was pretty good. They put sugar on my sweet potato fries. I didn't really care for that. The salsa was spicy, my husband loved it!The service and wait time were good, but the server sat us right next to the only other couple in that half of the restaurant. That was a little uncomfortable, but we would go again!
The meat was so cheap. It tasted terrible. The manager came by and I asked if the meat was tripe. He said no. It was the seasonings they used. No it wasn't. 14 dollars for the plate. So not worth it.
