Paleteria Tropicana Shawnee

Between the 4 of us we have carmel, pecan, keksteig and Ei-Nog ice. we all loved what we have. badchins were legit. I've got an elephant too. I get used to them. it is served here like a soup type thing with dosen mais. the taste was good, the mais was not great.

Walking in I could immediately tell the place wasn’t very clean. It has a faint smell and wasn’t very appetizing for food. We walked in 30 minutes before closing time and who I believe was the owner had an annoyed look on his face the entire time. We decided to leave. Wouldn’t recommend.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I walked in and stood at the counter for 2 minutes with no help. No one greeted me. The owner just stood there stocking sodas. 2 people looked at me and said nothing. Obviously I was invisible. That was my first time going there and I’ll never go again.

We went in for a funnel cake. It was taken out of refrigeration and microwaved. It looked good, but it was tough and awful ?

I think the reviews are a bit hard here, it's a small shop and busy on the weekends. Nothing is sketched about it and it is not dirty as other reviews suggest. The owners work very hard. All I had is good, but my favorite and the star of the show is the Mangoneada. Spicy, juicy, salty, fruity. A fair price. We need more local family businesses like these via corporate chains, please support them!
