Kay's Country Kitchen - Shawnee

This restaurant is no longer in operation. The building has been reduced to a heap of rubble, situated across from an abandoned motel.

This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I enjoy exploring new cuisines, and while we were driving to Oklahoma City and feeling quite hungry, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Initially, we only intended to grab a quick snack, but we ended up ordering butter chicken, rice, and naan. Everything was absolutely delicious! We actually visited a couple of weeks ago, and I meant to write this review sooner. We’re now considering a road trip back just to eat here again. Next time, we’ll definitely try something different, but I must say the butter chicken was fantastic!
