Mr. Chubby's Wings - Sharpes

Last time we were here at the Chaffee Rd restaurant was 9 years ago. Not good then but we thought we would try it again. Nothing has changed! Still not good, mostly the service but the food is mediocre. We were there around 4ish in the afternoon. Not busy.The food came out in increments. We got drinks after 10 minutes, then came a side salad after 15 minutes, then came the breaded, garlic parmesan wings after about 25 minutes. Basically fried chicken with powdered garlic and parmesan sprinkled over them. Bleh. No onion rings yet. We expressed concern over the slow time to a passing wait staff person who said it was shift change and 10 minutes later nothing. So by the time the onion rings were coming out we were ready to leave. Our server Carly M was pretty much nonexistent. But, she brought the onion rings in a to go box and tossed them on the table saying they were comp'd. She ran off so we had to go the bar to pay. When got in our car and some girl employee came running out saying it didn't appear we paid because our server couldn't find the tab. Really? Well, if she had been attentive she would have known we paid at the bar. And, by the way, the girl who came out to our car had been at the table behind us the whole time talking it up with some guy. Flicking her hair around, tossing loose strands into the air. Gross. Needless to say we won't try Mr. Chubbys again.

Ordered a salad and asked to keep tomatoes and of course they put them on. Also the wrong dressing was put with salad. My son shared some of his dressing with me. So 1 blue cheese for 15 wings and a salad. Unfortunately, this will be in my thoughts next time I think of ordering from them. It maybe one of hundres of plates you serve but it's my one lunch. Best wings are the plain breaded and the Tangy Gold. My boy ate Barbecue fried chicken sandwich. And Paige was awesome.Still the best wings in town.

Julie is an absolute legend. The best waitress we have ever had. Truly memorable experience. Best restaurant ever. 10/10 would recommend. Julie deserves a raise. Promotion to CEO. No cap.

Great local place, food and beer is good. Seating is ok but they do have games for the kids.
