Contribuiți la feedbackThe ambiance is pleasant, with a full vegan menu available. However, the prices are on the higher side and the quality of the food is disappointing. The curry vegetables tasted bland and the pad thai was mediocre, lacking the traditional flavor. The asparagus soup was lacking in taste while the orange soup was overly sweet, resembling a melted creamsicle. Despite the nice interior, the experience was overall unsatisfactory. It was surprising that our server only spoke English.
Upon my arrival at the restaurant, I noticed that it was a popular spot for both locals and foreigners, even outside of regular lunch hours. I met a friend there at 2pm on a Wednesday and luckily she had booked a table as it was quite busy. We were seated on the second floor deck, which was shaded by the canopy of trees. The lunch deal offered a choice of five items, one of which was vegan. I opted for the Detox Vegetable Curry with poppadoms, chutney, pickles, and black rice, and we also shared the Hanoi Rolls as a starter. The rolls were fresh and tasty, but the abundance of greens without any dressing made them seem more like decoration than food, which felt wasteful. The curry was nicely presented and delicious, with a generous portion size. I would consider returning to try more vegan options, but the prices are on the higher side compared to other restaurants with better alternatives.
The ambience is lovely and they offer a full vegan menu, but the prices are quite high and the quality of the food is disappointing. The curry vegetables tasted like plain cooked vegetables with no flavor, and the curry itself was bland. The pad thai was mediocre and didn't taste like traditional pad thai. The soups lacked flavor, with one being too weak and the orange soup tasting like a melted creamsicle. Overall, while the interior is nice, I was not impressed with the food. To my surprise, our server only spoke English.
During my first visit to this restaurant, I found it to be quite a popular spot, frequented by locals and tourists even during off-peak hours. I arrived at 2 o'clock on a Wednesday to meet a friend and the place was so crowded that she had to reserve a table. We sat on the second-floor deck, which was nicely shaded by trees. The lunch menu offered about 5 options, including a vegan dish. I opted for the detox sweet curry with poppadoms, chutney, pickles, and black rice, and we shared the hanoi rolls as a starter. The rolls were served in a wooden box with hydroponic salad, basil, and nuoc-cam sauce. They were fresh and tasty, but felt a bit lacking in terms of portion size and dressing. The curry was beautifully presented and delicious, with a decent portion size. I would consider returning with a vegan friend to try more dishes, but the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other restaurants with better options.
