We were seated. Waitress promptly came and took our order. People came in after us. They got their food. We watched as people were seated at 7 different tables. There were anywhere from 2-4 people at those tables. Waitress came to us twice to advise our order was being worked on. After an hour and 10 minutes, still no food, we walked out the door.

We loved the small town diner atmosphere of this place, and the food was top notch. We were there on a Tue when the special was ribs. They were really good, but even better in my opinion was the fried okra. I think it definitely was freshly battered and fried because it was so tender and flavorful not like the pre battered frozen kind they tend to serve at the chain outfits along the interstate highways. Kyndal took good care of us, and she's a doll. If you're ever in or near Shalotte, NC, it's worth a stop.

Nice place in pinehurst. Food and service is really great. Hope to go again when I visit.

The food was burnt and did not look good, they gave us the wrong order. They also took 43 minutes to bring out our food. Would not come here again.

Came back for breakfastb2nd day in a row. Had Southern Benedict which has sausage gravy over an egg covered biscuit. It was delicious. We also had the biscuits and gravy which was also excellent.
