I should have known it was going to be bad the moment I had to wait 10+ minutes for someone to come by after being seated by the hostess. I went up to someone and asked if a waiter was going to come. After another 5 minutes, the waitress showered up and was apologetic. We ordered a salad, a chicken meal and the Navajo bread. The salad looked pathetic and tasted even worse. The Navajo bread and chicken meal looked delicious, but there were no flavors to be found. Everything was bland. Whoever was cooking there that day didn't know that salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and other spices existed. It was a very disappointing experience. Bottom line, the place is good for drinks, I guess. The atmosphere is great. Service lacks so much. Food is not even worth mentioning again. Definitely never going there again.
It is a great spot to go and relax on a Friday or Saturday evening to enjoy some music and enjoy a meal while listening to music The Key Lime Pie was delicious.
So I never post negative reviews on a restaurant but last night I went to the hotel and Rosa cantina in Sewickley yesterday first my waitress wouldn't stay still long enough for me to order anything she stop and ask me if everything was okay and when I would go to answer her she'd be gone even when i wanted to order another glass of wine she was no where to be found so that was upsetting but let's get into the food I ordered lamb chops done medium they came out rare, meatballs they came out cold Navajo bread and I don't understand being half-American Indian why they would put from meat lettuce tomato on it. But I wouldn't suggest that and also I got their famous meatloaf and I would say that that was okay out of everything in the temperature, always good as well but. The worst was when I went to contact the owner and he tried to insult my intelligence by telling me that? I don't know anything about Navajo bread and it seems like I didn't like anything that they had there and I told him that I was part of the Pittsburgh foodies and he laughed and said oh, that's why. And I said, what does that have anything to do with why I'm calling.I was saying that I am a part of them and instead of posting anything negative.I wanted to talk to you about my situation and the whole time he was laughing and Was basically mocking me and even when I talked to him about the waitress, he said oz.She's been here for 10 years and not 1 person has ever complained about her like basically making it was just me and I was the only one that complained ever to him and he kept saying I I don't know what you want me to do I don't know what you're calling. It seems like you didn't enjoy yourself at all. So I don't know what you want me to do. Becais I doubt that you would enjoy yourself if I told you to come back to my restaurant because you didn't seem to like anything anyways and that's not at all what my intentions were. But I can tell you that I highly suggest people not go to this restaurant.Because I've never had a owner of a restaurant.Talk to me and treat me like this.I am appalled at this actually and we spent over a hundred dollars last night. And tip the girl twenty dollars even though she did a horrible job.
The food was amazing and the staff very informed friendly and happy. Great value for the money highly reccomend it
This place relies solely on its location, offering nothing else of value. The food is terrible for the price, with almost everything made from convenience products. They can't cook a burger medium because it's pre-made, and they can't serve fresh avocado slices because they use pre-packaged ingredients. The menu is misleading, listing items that are never available. The list of issues just goes on and on. For example, the $18 steak salad is made with deli lunch meat. This is just disappointing.
