We got two independent recommendations for this place so we wanted to get in. It seemed so busy so we stopped by right at opening time. While all of the tables were reserved, the server seated us outside and let us know that we could not sit for more than an hour. No problem. Great food!

Apart from its magnificent architecture and culture, Seville offers a vast choice in terms of cuisine. You can stop and grab a bite every 50 m and more or less you will be compensated. But some findings are worth passing on and Casablanca is one of them. Opposite the palace of Andalusia's central government, Casablanca serves most of the locals who have an eclectic taste in tapas. It can get crowded and you may have to reserve. If you don't manage to reserve they will try to accommodate you. They are very flexible and easy going. While you are waiting grab a drink at the bar and start gazing at the catalogue offering a wide choice of tapas. The first dish is on the house, a sort of mashed potatoes with oregano, olive oil and finely-chopped onion-really delicious. Then, we opted for a whole range of tapas- nicely marinated shrimps with a bit of garlic, homemade croquets filled in with roasted meat, veal with finely chopped peppers and fries (a must), scrambled eggs with potatoes and ham. A glass of red wine to wash down the salty, garlic mediterranean flavours and some water. The service is good and friendly, the location is great and will give you a glimpse of the local buzz. The prices are correct a bit on the high end (30 EUR on average). Recommended by locals too. Drop by for some tapas, try getting a table on the pavement and enjoy the food and the ambiance.

Amazing place, a true slice of Andalucía! The food was sublime, we had croquettes, asparagus and lambs brains which were a delicate surprise. Also consumed a few delicious sherries and all of this came to forty euros which was incredible value. A must for any visitor.

Muy buenas tapas y atención. ratio calidad-precio insuperable, se puede cenar por unos 10€ con 3 tapas. Repito sin duda, en particular gyozas de langosta con crema de curry fue lo que más me trajo, aunque tenía mis dudas al preguntarles.
