The Cookhouse 1770 - Seventeen Seventy

As a cafe owner, we are very fussy on what we call good food or coffee. This place ticked most of the boxes for us. Good coffee. Relaxing setting, and dog friendly (big plus for us).

The service and food was delious and just be on the water was amazing. Was a great start to our time away. we had the works burger and salt and pepper calamari

A Great meal with fantastic hosts, a truly enlightening experience and a must do if you are in and around 1770. My wife and myself ordered the 2 seafood dishes on offer and my son had a large serve of the Spaghetti bolognaise, We all loved our meals and the company of our hosts.main meals are approx $20 a main, give or take a few dollars depending on dish, but the value is in the tasting, best meal we've had for a very long time.

I went to Crumbs restaurant for dinner while staying at Captain Cook Holiday Village. The food was delicious, the staff were lovely and friendly, and they went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is quaint with outdoor seating on a deck, and it is BYO so you don't have to buy drinks. I highly recommend it.

We had a mouth watering dinner here last night. We ordered the green chicken curry and the Portuguese chicken both were amazing!! The green curry was the best curry I have tasted in Australia and the Portuguese chicken melted in your mouth!! For entree we had the crumbed olives and they were fantastic! A great little find, we will recommend family, friends and everyone eat here!! P.S price was great for the quality of food It is BYO so make sure you bring your favourite bottle of wine!!
