The Minstrel - Sevenoaks

Hush hush... Keep it a secret, but on Friday evenings this charming cafe transforms into a wine bar offering the finest adult cocktails in town and a great selection of wines. We enjoyed a pre-ordered cheese platter that was generously portioned with a delicious variety of cheeses. It made for a delightful date night, made even better by the friendly and welcoming hosts, Simon and Emma.

I had an amazing dining experience at this charming restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. Can't wait to come back again!

We were searching for a place to meet friends and happened upon this hidden gem. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. The seven of us sat down and began chatting. The staff were courteous and attentive, taking our orders after we had a chance to peruse the menu. The food was absolutely exceptional. We all ordered the Minstrel breakfast and were impressed with the perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, black pudding, and hash browns. The hash browns were particularly noteworthy, with a crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior unlike the soggy versions found at other establishments. They even accommodated my request to have my beans served in a separate bowl, as I prefer them not mixed with the rest of my meal. It was a joy to catch up with friends, but even more special to do so in a place that is so welcoming, with staff who genuinely care about your experience and dishes that are clearly prepared with attention and care. Kudos to the Minstrel, and thank you!

7 of us called in for breakfast and chat, the breakfast stopped all the chat. WOW what a beautiful sight it was, everything you expect and more. Go try the Minstrel for breakfast, lunch or evening drinks and snacks you won't be disappointed.

Just like to praise the staff at the Minstrel this morning for their superb customer service and attentiveness towards our party. We all enjoyed a fantastic breakfast which consisted of, Bacon, Sausages, eggs, beans, black pudding, mushrooms and a choice of brown or white toast. The restaurant was clean, tidy and well presented, the staff were polite and the food was excellent. I’d totally recommend this family ran restaurant.
