This is a small village pub rather than a travellers refreshment stop. If you can see past the worn interior and are not expecting gourmet food you will find a warm welcome and very good basic pub food. My wife and I enjoyed getting off the motorway and the fact that we very much enjoyed our visit here probably says more about us than the pub itself.

Lovely old country pub can't wait to try the food. Friendly staff reasonable prices would definitely recommend
