Wow! I am blown away by this restaurant. Why have I lived here my entire life and never eaten here is the concerning part of this review, otherwise it was flawless. THE CAESAR SALAD IS THE BEST AROUND; creative, delicious, and huge! The special cheese soup was delightful as well. By far, this was the best service I have had since The Monterey Bay. The staff is respectful yet personable. Our waiter was fabulous in personality and skill. The chef was so good she even checked that everything was great once it was brought to our table. We will be back. My extra dirty Hendrick's martini was stuffed with bleu cheese olives : . What a lovely place and reasonable pricing also! I cannot say enough about this place. I highly recommend it.

We went to Helen's and it started off positively. Crab bisque and the charcuterie board were prepared perfectly. We all really enjoyed the above. Now the bad ..... let's start with the mixed drinks .... The raspberry mojitos are better prepared at any chain restaurant bar up and down the strip. The lamb chop dinner was very underwhelming. I'm Italian so maybe my idea of risotto and theirs is very different. It tasted like something that would be served in a nursing home , undercooked and zero flavor. Then again the comment about the nursing home is false it was crunchy and cold so it wouldn't have cut the mustard there either. Lamb was ordered medium rare and it was rare at best. Carrot side had nothing on them just thrown on the plate. Extremely dissatisfied and underwhelming flavor. Not of the old Helen's standards at all. Next the filet was overcooked and potatoes were cold. All simple quality identifiers. Over priced and underwhelming is a terrible combination in the restaurant industry . I hope they get back to where they once were years back. We will not be returning 400 for dinner I expect more. Period.

Absolute gem of a place. So nice and secluded in the woods, although a little hard to find. Service is top notch. Got my order almost instantaneously. And the food was incredible. I was most impressed with how every person I talked to was so friendly and helpful. The staff is attentive and respectful. Also the vibe of the restaurant is rustic elegance.
