Coquillages & Crustaces - Sète

We are visiting this restaurant rather often. Always good service, very good food, special oysters. It never disappoints, and is just as good with children as it is for a romantic dinner or meeting with friends. I strongly recommend!

We went there on the eve of the Deconfinement and they had a Deconfinement Menu which was simply amazing with very good Shellfish Crustaceans. Wine list in line with the excellent food menu. Staff very friendly and helpful in all our requests. Only problem is the fact that the terrace is right on the side of a busy street above so it can become noisy at times.

Hospital and strong toxication next morning after platter. Never had it before, i am fan of oysters and seafood platters but it happened after i am not sure i will eat it.

We went for a lunch of 3. SERVICE nice waiters but we waited for 30min between 1st and 2nd despite a half full restaurant, and they didn’t care.FOOD correct, but very basic cooking. We asked for 2 different risotto and both were exactly the same with different topping.HYGIENE, the worst. Minimum COVID measures. Only waiters wore mask. Cooks in the opened kitchen didn’t wore and cleaning tables very basic no disinfectant spray used), no paper tablecloth. Dirty aprons and the owner of the restaurant was the perfect representation of lack of mindset: no mask, no hair protection on kitchen, lazy apron...One client put the shoes of his baby on the table and nobody asked him to avoid it or cleaned it just after...as it was no tablecloth, how to be sure that the wood cover was going to be really disinfected?? A Disappointing experience for 163€ 53€ each)

But we started with 6 perfectly served fresh oysters. I choose the linguines aux palourdes and grated Parmesan. The pasta was fresh and the clams were perfectly cooked all in unison. Highly recommend great staff! Noticed a cat on patio roof :
