Basically, Chez Melo is Carmelo’s (Italian, from Calabria) rather messy kitchen with a handful of bar seats placed around it. You can help yourself to beers and soda from a fridge near the door. And food is served in a pizza box, paper napkin, or plastic plate. Yet the quality of both the pizzas and pastas is absolutely amazing. We were with five people, managed to get enough seats, and before we could decide what to order Melo suggested making two pizzas (his oven can’t handle more at once), followed by freshly made pasta of the day (zucchini). Both the pizzas and the pasta were simply great, and we could have seconds from the pasta if we were still hungry. All of this set us back 55 euros, including drinks and tip. Oh, and if you’re lucky, Carmelo will get his guitar and start singing some Italian tunes.
The best pizza in the world frankly, we certainly waited a very long time (1h10) and we were tired of having made 800km of car before it was true too. But pizzas are excellent. real good Italian products, marinated vegetables, real hummm caps a pleasure and service with a young woman of adorable and smiling towers. Thank you.
They're the only pizza I like to eat. one day for me are the best pizza and with good fresh products.
