Marelli 79 - SESTO SAN GIOVANNI

I 'm one of the many who works at the few Sesto S.G: Business centers and I normally try to get out and walk a bit further out of Viale Edison to discovery new sites and resturants good enough to make my half a hour walk worth and not have a miserable lunch break either. Guess what?? OSTERIA METROPOITANA Marelli 79 DID that ! It was a surprise and I was so pleased to have experienced a good vibe Atmosphere by entering and enjoy my lunch time taking advantage of one of their FULL STOMACH formulas , primo acqua caffe : 6euro : honestly , a great ratio quality cost considering that i had lovely Ravioli with porcini mushrooms. by adding few more euros up to 8.5 or 10 , you could take advantage of their home made secondo , salty cakes while diving yout fork into their tempting deserts , with Torta Casareccia that looked divine and raised from all the other good choices !!! surrounded music , soft and jazzy , was the cherry on this cake. if lunch time gives you this peaceful and relaxing moment, i can 't wait to experience their live music at aperitivo or dinners. what a great Find !!! last but not least, The service was good , fast reliable and the chef looked just the way i like it : easygoing and not fussy and thanks to the open kitchen , you could also keep an eye on his movements and fine work. well done. Amazing food with the best grilled meat in Milano! The restaurant is the perfect mix between great food, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff!

A fine place for Italian pasta, good wine and conversation. Although the menu is limited the choices do not disappoint. The staff were great and accommodating.
