Warm, attentive host explained the rotating dishes of the week. Assured us of the freshness of the seafood and gave us samples of some dishes to try before ordering. Visited the place for lunch. Had a Veg thali alongwith a couple of Unndo (type of Goan bread) with potato bhaji (gravy). Absolutely loved the unndo ! they bake their own bread and for the first time I could understand what Goan bread is all about and some of the hype surrounding it is understandable. Highly recommended. Potato bhaji was decent, served fresh and hot. Mildly spiced. The Veg thali was good too. I absolutely loved the 2 types of daal ! If i understood the flavors correctly, one had generous use of garlic but the other one did not and yet was so flavorful but simple.
