Sf Bagel - Seoul

The bagels here are so good! and you can get drip butter as spread. I was disappointed that the cinnamon roll was not vegan. we couldn't sit outside. it's a good place to go if they're just something.

I’d go back just because of the owner, she is so sweet and made me feel welcomed. The bagels were delicious and I look forward to trying the vegan cinnamon rolls.

This small bakery specializes in San Francisco style bagels, using sourdough and a traditional fermentation method. Although the dough itself is plant based, many bagels are not vegan because of toppings and fillings! Basically, all bagels with toppings including grains, seeds, oats! are not vegan: They use an eggwash (made from eggwhites) to attach the toppings to the raw dough before baking.Also, if you have allergies, be aware that cross contamination is possible, since bagels are stored directly next to each other. Vegan bagels are e.g. plain, whole wheat, fig, blueberry and chocolate. It is best to ask the owner which vegan options are available that day. Once a week on Saturdays, they offer vegan cinnamon buns as well! In addition to that, they can make vegan pita bread or your choice of bagels upon pre order (order via Instagram, at least 1 day in advance). Staff is friendly and helpful with regard to checking ingredients. I quite enjoy the taste of the bagels here! They can be ever so slightly crisp on the outside, while the inside is springy and chewy. The fruit and chocolate flavored bagels have a subtle sweetness to them. Overall, these hand made bagels, which are baked fresh daily, are SO much better than any soggy, mass produced version elsewhere in Korea. Prices range between 2500 and 3000 KRW per bagel. Btw, if you pre order 6 bagels, you'll get 1 plain bagel for free. The store is very small, and in the winter time, it operates for take out only. Technically, there is a seating area outdoors, but it is only available during the warmer months.

These were perfect and the best bagels i’v had so far in Seoul. I wish this place was near my house. Each bagel is distinct with a full range of flavors. Love it!!! Updated from previous review on 2018-12-31

Was not in the area looking for bagels but walked past just as they were opening. The smell made me look. Great water sourdough bagels. We bought a regular, fig, and everything. All were great.
