Very affordable and delish vegan Traditional Korean food. Homey vibes. Some of the most flavourful banchan (side dishes we had in all of Seoul. The suburbs does food better ; Hot tip for if it 's your first time: The kimchi is COMMUNAL, you can eat as much as you like but DO NOT eat straight from the kimchi pot. Use the tongs to take as much as you can eat, and use the scissors to cut it up into small bits onto the given plate! We ordered the last thing off the english menu, the 'Mushroom Stew ' stew is an understatement, it 's a sizzling hot pot of soup that bubbles on your table!!! A little hidden treasure to find. Felt very at home in this cute little restaurant. The food was fresh, and filling. The flavor did not disappoint. I was very happy with the service, and the kind server. I would highly recommend this place.
They do not open on saturdays and on friday night (only until15:00 on fridays. This place is definetly worth a visit if you are nearby! All foods vegan. legitimate price. Consideeing that there arent that many vegan restaurants on the north eastern side of seoul, this place is worth a visit..
Green Field is awesome! It’s the best authentic Korean restaurant in Seoul AND its vegan. There’s classic floor seating, plants everywhere, and Korean TV dramas going on in the background. The ladies who work there are so sweet. They dont speak any English but they try to help you any way they can. It's a very homey environment. You definitely feel warm and welcomed. And the food… OH MY GOD! You get not one but TWO different types of kimchi (white and red). Everything there is wholesome and delicious. They have everything from dumplings, stuffed mushrooms, and mungbean jelly, to lotus wrapped rice and giant soups to share. The perilla soup is my all time favourite! I highly recommend it. Its cute but they always bring a bowl of popcorn for dessert too. Its all so cheap, 100% vegan, delicious Korean food and everything is homemade. I bring all my veggie friends and omni-family members from abroad and they all love it. It is a bit confusing to get to the first time you go. It’s definitely a hidden treasure but well worth the hunt. The only down sides are that they are closed on Fridays and Saturdays. Ive also provided a rough translation of the menu in happycows pictures above. The menu at the resto is all in Korean so I highly recommend you save the translated version on you phone so you know what to order when you get there. Updated from previous review on 2016-10-10
