Contribuiți la feedbackTranslated by Google) I accidentally bumped into the Hajj Korea Halal Food Restaurant and certainly one of the “injuries” I am grateful for. Hajj is one of the few restaurants in Itaewon that serves Korean food. I dare to say that they serve authentic Korean food, as food is prepared by a native Korean woman who has been a Muslim for over 26 years! I'll tell Mashallah. The restaurant serves a wide range of Korean dishes. You can get all the classic Korean dishes that can be seen on TV, like the spicy tofu stew, the Korean pancakes with seafood and the cold noodles to name just a few. The food served is absolutely delicious and is prepared directly when you order it. Nothing of this gimmick that have restaurants by preparing certain components in advance. I ordered a few dishes, Beef Bulgogi, Stir Fried Udon, Spicy Tofu Stew, Seafood Pancake and of course rice. The food was well seasoned and the seafood was definitely fresh. Although the pictures included in my review may not look appealing, do not annoy yourself, the food would not disappoint you. Apart from the food, the Korean woman was extremely friendly and generous. She told her life story and her journey as a Muslim in Korea. She also warned us that many restaurants in Korea are not really halal and actually benefit from the rising trend of Muslim travellers. She asked us to feed only in facilities certified by the Korea Muslim Federation, or in restaurants listed in the Muslim Friendly Restaurant of the Korea Tourism Organization. It is a bonus that she can talk in English and a bit in Malay/Bahasa Melayu. Hajj is located along the streets of Itaewon, where the Seoul Mosque is located. When you see the Seoul Mosque on the left, turn right and go all the way. It is not on the main road, so you could miss it.
