It a restaurant with a simple decoration but very clean.Good service, big portions the food ad very good quality, fair price. Good experience must return.

About the food we had portuguese stewed bread sausage alheira as a starter and the famous rumpsteak posta à mirandesa with demi-cooked and fired potatoes as side dish. Salad ordered apart.Meat was a bit obercooked and not so tender as it should be on a veal cut, the side dishes were ok to. The sausage was ok. None of the plates was astonishing, medium quality. About the service big issue, except that owners were rushing up customers. After one of us had ended the main course it was aske if he wanted dessert, but there were some of us still ending our meal. Really I don 't know why, but this hurry, as a customer seems like: you 're served, get off... This is a restaurant that evolved during the years and it 's on the third generation of family owners. It kept the decoration from the last twenty years, and reduced a lot the traditional NorthEast portuguese warm welcome. I do understand that there is nothing more anoying that customers that step in when you probably had other plans, but this is the restaurant owners life. If you 're unhappy with this, sell your restaurant.

There is only 1 thing to eat as main dish: Posta à Mirandesa . But that is not a negative thing, because the meat is wonderful done and very very tasty! We just don 't give the 5 stars because it 's too much old-fashion wih old, black chairs. Not so important if you like good meat ;
