Zom Hee Chinese - Seminole

What can be said about Zom Hee that hasn't already been said in other reviews? If you've ever had Chinese cuisine in states other than Florida, you're likely aware of just how disappointing the Florida experience can be. Zom Hee is the polar opposite of that experience. Typically, Chinese food here, in Florida (as compared to the west coast, southwest and midwest is just plain lazy and about as cookie cutter boring as it can be. Seriously. We all know sweet and sour chicken (or pork or shrimp should come with a pineapple/orange juice based sauce and chunks of pineapple, red green peppers, carrots and occasionally tomatoes onions. Ha. Here, in Florida, you get a ton of orange colored sauce, whose primary component is corn syrup and NONE of the aforementioned fruit and vegetables. Zom Hee breaks that stupid mold and gives you a truly awesome meal, while taking their own path in preparation.

I really enjoyed coming in and sitting down and eating there. This was my first time, I always did take out. I don't know why I waited so long. Looking forward to next time. Ordered pork chop suey. THE MEAT WAS LIKE A ROCK. Told the man when we left. He said it was probably the end cut of the pork. Will not go back its Asian Pearl on Drew that's Chinese food. The portions are so small. A Mongolian beef plate that cost almost $20 it is only vegetables, same with the Seafood delight plate. The price for the amount of food is ridiculous. Go to a buffet Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
