The Semaphore Bakehouse

We purchased an apricot turnover at this restaurant and were disappointed to find that there were no apricots in the mock cream filling. The pastry was burnt and dry, and the mock cream was of poor quality. The donuts appeared to be store-bought and were also dry and unappetizing. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant and will not be returning, especially since we often visit Semaphore for a drive.

We enjoyed a variety of delicious cakes and pastries for lunch at this restaurant. Everything was excellent and the staff was friendly and attentive.

This morning, I went to the bakery to buy bread and cake. The new blonde cashier refused to give me a bag for the bread, insisting on touching it herself. Given the ongoing COVID-19 situation, I was concerned about hygiene practices. I ended up purchasing a cake instead, but was given the oldest one without being informed. The cashier also failed to ensure that customers checked in using the COVID-19 tracking app. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of attention to hygiene and customer service at Semaphore Bakery. This will be my last visit to the bakery.

The first time tasty eat the nicest people they've ever been working there. we are new in the opposite. this will definitely become a regular place for baked goods for our family.

Terry the owner of the bakery did an amazing job for me and took a cake order over the phone and took it down to the Semaphore Palais bistro for a surprise birthday party (all with 4 hours notice! . It was extra special as I'm...stuck in Sydney thanks to covid travel restrictions and wanted to get something to my sister in adelaide for her birthday.
