Bella Roma - Seltz

Nice local Italian. Although my 'caprese ' was not the best (cheese and tomatoes a bit hard) the rest of the dishes was very tasty and reasonably priced. Excellent homemade Tiramisu! Would recommend. Many locals came for take-away pizzas.

Frozen pizza are much better than what they sell. We also tried flamkuchen and I almost refused it was served, as the liquid cream was obviously making everything soggy

We were tired from traveling sightseeing all day, so I stopped by here for some take out while my wife chilled out back at the hotel. I walked in around 5:30pm (early by French standards), so I was the only patron in the establishment. They young lady behind the counter greeted me warmly when I walked in. After hearing my poor French, she took pity on me and spoke to me in very good English. I placed my order and decided to have a beer while I waited. the young lady took great pains to pour me a proper glass with just the right amount of head space. I should have taken a photo. By the time I finished my beer (maybe 10 minutes) the pizzas were ready and off I went. We enjoyed them immensely. The sauce/cheese ratio was just right, and the crust was crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. I think the French take the same approach to pizza crust as they do all other breads it is something they take seriously. I don't know if I will ever be back in this area, but Bella Roma is a place I would return to eagerly.

Just the best pizzeria around! They often offer special pizzas and have a beautiful terrace in summer. Ambiance to the German while we're in Seltz, we love or we don't like but I'm conquered by their pizzas!
