A Kitten Kadoodle Coffee Cafe - Selden

I noticed that the kittens had discharge in their eyes, and their nails were excessively long and poorly maintained. The staff member was not wearing a mask during a pandemic, which was concerning. Some of the cats appeared to be unwell. One of the cats was aggressive, and I wasn’t informed about this before trying to pet her; she ended up biting me. It would have been helpful to know beforehand. These unfortunate cats really need better care.

The staff member at this restaurant was incredibly rude. My boyfriend and I felt so uncomfortable that we left within five minutes, without even getting a chance to sit down.

She continued with her questions, asking if I worked full-time, to which I replied affirmatively. She responded with some stuttering and said, "Well, you're adopting two cats, so I guess that's fine," again with a condescending tone. Additionally, she seemed to assume I was trying to adopt the cats for a girl, which wasn't true; I'm currently single and was simply looking for two companions. I have visited multiple shelters and adoption centers before and have never encountered anything like this. Unfortunately, I decided to thank her for her time and will look to adopt my two new cats elsewhere.

We visited with my girlfriend's family, and the experience was delightful. The owner was incredibly friendly and even allowed us to enter before opening hours to interact with the kitties. All the cats were very sociable, especially if you took the time to introduce yourself, particularly the older ones. The smoothies were great, but the adorable kittens stole the show. It’s a fun place for everyone, no matter the age!
