Johnson Family - Selbyville

Was a good place to eat until they had to close....

This place has the BEST fried chicken that I have ever had on the Eastern Shore Of Delmarva. My hat goes off to Bishop Johnson and his family for an job well done.

The fried chicken is moist, tender, and perfectly crispy. The sweet potato pie is fantastic, and I can’t praise the meatloaf enough. And those greens—wow! If there are greens in heaven, I’m sure they’re made using Miss Mary’s recipe.

Fantastic atmosphere, excellent service, and friendly staff. The service is prompt, and everything on the menu is delicious. I absolutely love Johnson Family Restaurant!

I stopped by while passing through and was disappointed with my experience. Despite there being only a few customers, I waited over 20 minutes for my food. When it finally arrived, the fries were cold, and the sandwich looked like it had been made by a third grader. To make matters worse, I found a hair underneath the fries—really unappetizing. I had hoped to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.
