We had an amazing evening celebrating a 70th birthday with around 20 family members at this restaurant. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us. The food was fantastic and we all had a wonderful night overall.

After not visiting this restaurant for about 20 years, we came back tonight and will now be regulars once again. The food was just as delicious as we remembered from all those years ago. Nidge, the front of house host, was fantastic and took great care of us. We will definitely be returning with our family in the near future. This place is truly amazing.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and it is best to call ahead to book a reservation. It is a very popular restaurant and takeaway. When we visited on a Saturday night at 7:00 PM, it was almost full. It is located in the old booking office room above the station, and it fills up quickly with diners. Nig, the chef, has everything under control and is always willing to help. The kitchen staff work hard and deserve recognition. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, from traditional dishes to specials. We will only eat at this restaurant, even though we have to travel 26 miles to get there. We highly recommend it.

Me and a friend were denied access to the toilet and to sit down for small bite while we waited for our train even though it was quite empty. The manager was not very nice.

Lovely quiet venue, great service and delicious food. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again in the future.
