The Power Plant Texas Grill - Seguin

Had a reservation of 6:30 a.m., arrived a few minutes ago and was set immediately. our drink order was removed and we were left with menus. drinks came super fast, and our waiter slimm was friendly and attentive, even during the several tables. eating was amazing! we will definitely be back and tell everyone about this place.

Food and service were great. This place is so much more than a restaurant with its great history and artifacts.

First we reserved the outdoor area, but when we arrived, we were told the terrace was closed. Second, in the restaurant EXTREMELY was loud. We had a small group and even the youngest said they had heard others badly on our table. There was a musician playing and singing guitar, but the building was so loud that we couldn't hear him very well. He played a great music from what we could hear. Like most places in these days, they seemed to be short (what I suspect is why we couldn't sit outside. The server we had (Kayla was AWESOME like Slim and the other servers. We plan to return to this clean place, but we will CALL and check that the terrace is open and available for seating before we make the trip to Seguin.

Ordered chicken wings and a side salad, both with blue cheese dressing. No blue cheese dressing. Changed order to catfish and coleslaw. Good, but not what I wanted.

Made reservation through Open Table. Got there and was told they were short staffed and I could not have the outdoor seating. OK ... Ordered drinks and appetizer ... Was out of brussels sprouts. Website said open till 8pm, got there at 4:30 (per reservations), ordered the drinks and appetizers, went to order main course and was told they were closing at 5pm. They would have taken the order, but we would have been the last, and actually were the last, people in the restaurant, even though we did not place our order for the main course. Great place, cool restaurant, management might need some assistance. Food was good, drinks were good. Just a messed up experience ... Maybe due to short staff, maybe due to lack of proper management.
