Los Cucos Mexican Restuarant - Seguin

We stopped at this location on Easter Sunday. My husband and I had a great time. The woman who served us was named Meredith. She was very friendly and helpful. I can't eat food that is spicy. The meal She recommended was perfect for me. My husband enjoyed his food. He ate almost everything. Meredith returned twice to make sure that we had everything we needed. She even showed us a picture of her granddaughter Mae Lynn with her Easter dress on. I felt like I was a regular customer, instead of someone who's just passing through town, heading back to Houston. I recommend this restaurant strongly. We'll stop by the restaurant the next time we're passing through.

This place has went to the dogs. I have been here in the past and the food and service was amazing! Today, not so much. Maybe they figured since I'm a gringo I wouldn't know the difference between a chimichanga and a burrito. It was soaked in nacho cheese sauce and soggy. Wasn't fried. Asked for charro beans and got refried beans. My wife asked for a watermelon margarita on the rocks and it was frozen instead. And for the money you spend here, you would expect it to be on point!

We arrived here at 12:30 pm and the restaurant was already packed. We had to wait for a seating of four but it was not long at all. We ordered our drinks and was immediately served with complimentary house made chips and 2 different types of house made salsa which was really good and had a bit of spice to it. I ordered the queso birria which was good. It is my first time trying it so I have nothing to compare it to when it comes to taste. My husband had the beef n chicken fajita which he enjoyed and the kids settled for hamburger which was bigger than average. The place was is a pretty spacious set up with lots of seating and open room with a bar. The only issue I would have to say is they had ran out of to go plates and we had to settle with the little square foam containers and no bag to carry 8 containers. The waitress also seemed in a rush all the time which was understandable since it was pretty busy but it's part of customer service. All in all we would come here again and enjoyed the food.

Fast service, clean kitchen, efficient, staff, and well the food... It was excellent quality! I don't normally drive this far from my home to go eat, unless the restaurant is on my path of travel, but this place merited the miles

I only recommend this place if your very hungry,want a little bit of everything and wanting to spend some money.. The restaurant is clean and everyone is constant and organized. Music was great. Our waiter Ashley was very helpful and very attentive.10/10 The food on the other hand 8/10. It's all good.. very good flavor. but the prices are a little crazy and the selection on a plate have to much going on. It wasn't just me it was my whole table that agreed. Definitely took home left overs.. They give you a lot so it's somewhat worth what your spending but personally no.. If you're looking for a quick bite or a smaller portion plate, I don't recommend this place for that.
