The food at this restaurant is exceptional. I live nearby and always make sure to visit with friends. I recently tried the three course meal for 12.99 and I was so full that I had to take half of my main course home with me. The deals at this restaurant are great, but ordering individual dishes can be expensive. The atmosphere was quite quiet, with only two other tables occupied. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely continue dining here as I feel welcomed and the food is flawless in my opinion. It is much better than any other cheap fast food restaurant, and worth the extra money.

Well where to start! I used to live in Waterloo and went here a lot as it was really nice food so met up with a friend and we went to have a good chat and good food. There were so many happy hour banquets to choose from (on a Saturday this should have been a giveaway) The lady who served us was friendly enough. The hot and sour soup arrived and it wasnt even bland it was inedable, it looked and tasted what imagine dirty dish water left over night (when you get that rancid scum floating on the top) would tastle like. No-one throoughout the meal asked us if everything was ok as i think they have stopped doing that for fear of someone actually telling them the truth, when the soup was taken from the table almost full nothing was said. Next onto the mixed platter! Deep fried crab stick was actually one of then pink and white crabsticks you get in a pack totally disgusting, the ribs mainly bone and full of grizzle, the spring rolls had a brown goo inside the same of the curried puff I dont even want to think what it was. The seaweed (oh no sorry there was a teaspoon full for 2 people so I cant review that as there was none to review) Just shocking! Again most of the food left and the waitress still didn't ask if everything was ok. We also got drink that came out of can I assume, I i shandy so warm beer with cheap lemonadedoes not make for a nice drink! Mains, mine came 15 mins before my friends as they had made a mistake with his so we didnt even get to eat together. Ii has singapore vermichelli, so was looking forward to the chicken, port, beef, succulent prawns, nice spice associated witht the said dish. What came was rice noodles a bit of manky chicken and what i can only think was chopped up spam, again totally disgusting. My friends meal arrived which he said was just ok. What topped it off was the waiter who thought he was a comedian, the type if he was in a comedy club would have eggs thrown at him and probably whatever ever else you could get your hands on! Dont get me wrong he was probably just trying to be nice but coupled with the diabolical meal and the zero atmosphere he JUST not helping and should just wind his neck in! On to the deserts, couldnt tell you we got the bill and legged it! If you want big portions of **** and pay as little as possible for your meal then this is the palce for you, if you want a decent meal i can honestly say DO NOT GO HERE.

I personally don't see how this place has good reviews as the food we was served was cold and greasy. Sent soups back as they were bearly warm, the one that came back was hot but not a bit of meat in it, supposed to be char sui and chicken in it. After that we just ordered some duck and starters. Suck was cold, spring rolls were dripping with grease. Just a terrible experience. We won't be going back there again

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with generous portions at a great price. I highly recommend it. The Special Fried Rice was excellent, and the staff were very friendly.

The restaurant appears worn-out and the food arrived quickly which made me suspect it was microwaved, not stir-fried. My chow mein was bland and had a watery consistency.
