Taverne Antigone - Seevetal

The Taverna Antigone, popular in the neighborhood, is located on the connecting road between Sinstorf and Meckelfeld, also working in Corona times. The typical Greek cuisine with all the classics of Hellas is massively handmade. You should book! And note: No card payment possible. Gyros, Biftecti, Mussaka, Grill Plate, Tsatziki and Ouzo for this you can go. My tip: The juicy pork fillets with herbal butter. Everything tastes so that it is easy to look at the interior. Urig: At the separate table there is a ring button to call the operation. This is not necessary due to the attentive service (and cannot be in function). Everything without chicks. Jamas Hellas!

I just came out of the Antigon, I'm almost my second home. Most Greeks ask how was the food? All right, but not anymore. This is different in the antigone, the food is super, totally delicious, the staff, boss and boss, always friendly and beautiful. After we've been living in town for ten years, we've made it to the Antigone. I have heard a lot of good about it in the acquaintance and I have to say: it is confirmed. When we were there, the shop was occupied until the last table (everything ours). Nonetheless, there were no overlong waiting times. We found the bell at the table funny, but we didn't need it. Operation (Antigone personally) was very nice. The food was excellent. The parts are not huge but completely sufficient. Although it is a small place and each table has a kind of own sepiaree, it does not look narrow, but bright and generous. For large groups it is easy to rebuild. We're definitely going back. A reservation is advisable. The 443 stops right outside the door.

I come here regularly and always like to come. The service is always friendly and fast. I've already tried several grill plates. Pig, lamb and beef taste great and are partly prepared on the grill. I like the taste of fresh grill. I've never tried anything from the secrets. On the one hand, this is because I don't like the interior and on the other hand I'm especially on fish and seafood. I like the salad. I can't judge whether the carrots and the white cabbage were shaved and inlaid, but as it is served, it tastes me. There are also tasty tzatziki. The pommes are crispy. Personally, I also like short-fried pommes; even the oven dishes taste good. Long bow or lamb.... very good! The owner can cook well. I tried four Greeks in the area (two in Rönneburg and one in place and the Taverne Antigone is my favorite. Meat can probably grill almost every Greek, but the salad, the Tzatziki, the oven dishes and the service have grown to my heart in Antigone. And that's why I'll be back soon.

This is my favorite restaurant among the Greeks. The host is always very nice and friendly. The cook spices, tastes the plates and cut with attention in detail. You can also stay on the lovingly planted terrace in summer. Prices are normal and reasonable. I always like to be there.
